Service is Sweet

 For June's Relief Society Activity we learned how to make yummy frosting and decorate cookies.

I am NEVER using a butter knife to decorate cookies or cupcakes EVER AGAIN! 

Jenny Cooper's Mother & Sister in Law showed us how to use plastic wrap and a frosting bag to make the cutest designs on cookies. The palm tree and carrot were my favorite.

 We then made cute Popsicle cards to take with our cookies to the service men & women of the Layton Fire/ Police departments. It was a wonderful evening with the sisters in the ward. 

Service really is sweet...

Frosting Recipe:

1 Cube Blue Bonnet margarine

1/2 C Shortening

1/8 tsp Salt

1 tsp almond extract

51/2 C Powdered Sugar

1/4 C  + 1 TBS Milk 

Michelle's Cucumber drink:

1 can frozen limeade

2 bottles 7 up

cucumber garnish
